So to keep the balance between player satisfaction and the principle "the wand chooses the wizard/witch", I would propose that after a quiz, the player is presented with a selection of maybe 5 or 10 wands that are most likely to fit them. On a different note, people might be dissatisfied with their quiz result because they believe a certain wood/core fits them well, but the quiz accentuates a certain characteristic of that player while ignoring another, possibly quite relevant, one. So if there's a quiz, I believe it should be considerably more in-depth. Rowling, is very short and not particularly deep (How on Earth is my eye colour or the fact that my birthday is even/odd linked with my personality?!). Technicalities aside, I do not think that this is a very good idea, for the following reason: The Pottermore quiz, while published with the blessing of J. For the latter, many have wished for the Pottermore quiz result to be linkable to the game. The two most prevalent notions of how this should be handled are a) a custom tailored wand and b) a sort of quiz that determines which wand would choose you. This is a big a one and is very likely to crop up in some way in the game. Hi all! Having nothing better to do and thirsting for any news about the game, I decided to compile all arguments and ideas about wands that I have come across or thought of myself, all while discussing what the best way to implement the wands in-game would be.
